Food Culture Talks & Workshops
A significant aspect of our work is to help people reach out and connect with their sense of African-ness and their culture. We facilitate workshops and talks around local heritage that help people engage with their own identities and reevaluate the ways in which they value themselves and interrogate internalised problematic ideologies and shame around what it means to be an African.
Being an African is not about being better or worse than others but rather acknowledging the merits of your identity that make it unique and brings diversity to the world, while simultaneously enjoying our similarities with other cultures.
You can book a talk or a workshop for your organisation, group of mates or can join one of our workshops when there's one active. Send us an email for more information.
